Born into a family of miners in Sicily, Pino Spitaleri inherited a passion for colored stones from a very young age.

Pursuing his calling, Pino enrolls at the prestigious IATA Namur Belgium for bench training at the age of 14.

At 20, Pino Spitaleri opens up his first jewellery atelier in Luxembourg and Pino develops a new technique of diamond setting, known as microsetting. The pioneering technique has become a mainstay across the high jewellery industry today.

Pino is awarded Master Jeweller of the Year by the Grand-Duc Henri of Luxembourg.

Pino joins Graff in the London Headquarters where he overhauls the setting department and introduced a new micro-setting technique. During his time at Graff, Pino creates some of the most extraordinary jewellery masterpieces in history, including the iconic 24.78 carat Graff Pink, and the 31.06 carat Wittelsbach-Graff diamond.

Pino launches Atelier Spitaleri in Central London. Catering exclusively to B2B high jewellery clients, Pino produces extraordinary creations for leaders of industry, such as the 10.44ct fancy intense pink flawless round diamonds. Property of the Crown of Portugal for 200 years.

Dedicated to raising the benchmarks of the fine jewellery industry, Pino trains over 50 of the world’s finest high jewellery artisans.

His workshop is selected to represented Brussels, the epicentre of the diamond trade, at the Belgian Pavillion at EXPO 2020 Dubai.

Pino is appointed Ambassador for Wallonia to the UAE on the AWEX.

Pino launches Atelier Spitaleri, an industry-disrupting VIP high jewellery experience, in Dubai, UAE. The 700sqm workshop is an extension of his London atelier, the brand opens up the exclusive world of high jewellery to the public, putting artistry and ethics at the forefront of its operations. With the creation Academy within the Atelier, Pino shares his passion and trains the art of jewellery making to the artisans who will then be part of our Team.

Atelier Spitaleri sets up a new mile stone by opening the first Atelier experience in the heart of the High End Jewellery Industry Old Bond Street.
